Community Service

Thank you for considering volunteering for Community Service at the Cherokee Humane Society Thrift Store. We are located at 12156 Highway 92, Woodstock, GA 30188. We are adjacent to McDonald’s Restaurant. We are an approved worksite for Court Ordered Community Service in multiple jurisdictions. We are open six days a week, Monday – Saturday from 10 AM until 6 PM and are a retail store. Sales and donations support our mission of saving animals.

Here a few guidelines:

1. Must be 18 years or older.
2. Must dress modestly and appropriately.
3. No Flip-flops.
4. No tank tops.
5. Come to the store any day of the week, except Sunday when we are closed.
6. Be there at 9:30 AM and plan to work till 6 PM, when we close. There can be exceptions, if your schedule does not allow for this. But discuss with the manager when you are at the store.
7. When you arrive, sign in at the Information Desk.
8. We have been an approved site for many years.
